Step:

  1. To make this delicious traditional recipe, take a glass bowl and add wheat flour, baking powder and 2 tsp of salt in it. Add 6 tbsp of ghee and mix well until it resembles bread crumbs. Add the thymol seeds and 1/2 cup of water. Knead well to make a stiff yet pliable dough.

  2. Now, take small portions of the dough and make medium sized balls. Place them on baking grill.

  3. And bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until they start to turn light brown in colour. Bake the batis at a lower temperature for another 15 to 30 minutes or until crispy and fully cooked. Once done, remove the batis from the oven and soak them in the remaining ghee for around 30-40 minutes.
