Step:
Remove excess fat off of roast, cover and massage flour, salt, and pepper into roast.
Heat up oil on frying pan, sear both sides of roast and edges to create a crust.
Move roast immediately to crock pot, turn on low. Add pepperoncinis and butter to pot.
In a small bowl, mix mayo, vinegar, dill, and paprika, mix well to create a dressing, pour over roast and let cook for 8 hours on low.
After 8 hours, separate the meat with two forks until stringy, return mean to pot, stir well and serve!
Ingredients
3-4 lb boneless chuck roast
Flour (as needed)
Salt (as preferred)
Pepper (as preferred)
3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
4 tbsp butter (or more)
10 Pepperoncini
2 Tbsp Mayo
2 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 Tsp Dried Dill
1/8 Tsp Paprika
Tip: I personally recommend using butter to sear the meat and create your crust, you end up with too much oil in the crock pot at the end of the meal
