Step:

  1. Wash, peel, and cube the potatoes

  2. Boil until a fork pierces easily

  3. Drain 3/4 of the water

  4. Mash most of the potatoes

  5. Add milk and butter and mix well

  6. If sick, serve with salt and pepper to taste. If not sick, garnish with optional ingredients or other preferred toppings
