Strawberries with Balsamic Vinegar

Wash and hull the strawberries and cut them into quarters

Place the strawberries in a bowl. Sprinkle the strawberries with caster sugar and balsamic vinegar, toss gently to coat

Cover, and let it sit at room temperature for an hour

Just before serving, gently toss the strawberries again. Grind pepper (optional) and drizzle some sweetened balsamic vinegar over strawberries, enjoy
