Step:
First soak the chanafor 8 hours and pressure cook it for 6 to 7 whistles add salt after it's cooked and boil it again. Keep aside.
Now take one and half onions and thinly slice it's vertically, heat 2 teaspoon oil and cook onions on slow flame till it Caramelise. Keep this also aside.
Now in a pan add oil mustard seeds jeera saunf Hing turmeric powder green chilies let it crackle then add half chopped onions Ginger garlic paste and cook with a pinch of salt well.
Once onions are cooked well add the Cooked Kabuli chana all the masalas with a little water And simmer for three minutes till all the water is absorbed.
Now add the cooked rice Kasuri methi lemon juice and mix well.
Garnish with fried onions and serve with Raita.
For raita : Add chopped onions to a bowl and make a tadka of mustard seed Green chilli and hing. Now add salt and curds to the mixture Raita is ready.

1 cup cooked rice
1/4 cup kabuli chana/chickpeas
2 medium onions
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon jeera( cumin)seeds
1/2 teaspoon saunf
1 teaspoon Kasturi methi
1/2 teaspoon hing / asafoetida
As needed Oil
1/2 teaspoon chole masala
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
2 green chilli
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon lemon juice
as needed water
For Raita
500 ml curd
1 small onion chopped
1 green chilli
1/2 teaspoon oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
