Step:
Take dals and wash them properly and then put 1 & 1/3 cup of water and let it soak for 2 to 3 hours.now take cooker add Dal along with water and salt to taste and then add 1 more cup ofwater and cook untill 5 vessels in high flame and turn flame yo low and cook for 4 to 5 mins.
Now remove the Dal in a bowl.
Now heat a steal pan and put oil+ghee+butter once this gets hot put Zeera and saunf add ginger +garlic and onion saute for sometime and add red chillies saute for more few mints add tomato salt(add very little bcz we have added salt in Dal mixture also so add according to that).cook for 1mins add amchur powder+red chilli powder saute some time.
Now put tadka in hot Dal and and cook for 2mins.Heat pan melt butter put 1 red chilli and pour on Dal when serving(it's optional).Your buttery Nagauri Dal is absolutely ready.
FOR RICE-------soak rice in water for 30mins.
Now drain all the water from the rice.Heat ghee in a pot and add Zeera some curry leaves after few seconds add rice and saute for 3 to 4mins.
Now add 2cups of water and salt mix it well.bring the rice to a quick boil then reduce the heat to simmer.when water is reduced put tawa on a medium flame and place your rice pot on tawa cover the pot and let it cook for 6 to 8 mins.after that open ild and give a gentle mix put corinder leaves and again cover it for 1 to 2mins.and your Zeera Rice is ready.
Serve this Dal with Zeera rice and papad you will enjoy this awesome taste.
