Step:

  1. Cream together butter and sugar. Add in the eggs, lemon juice, zest & milk.

  2. Sift the flour into the butter mixture. Add in the baking powder, cinnamon and salt.

  3. Transfer into a greased baking sheet and bake on 180/200 until baked and golden.

  4. Have with some tea or serve as a dessert with custard, yoghurt or cream.

  1. 750 ml plain flour
  2. 250 ml sugar
  3. Pinch salt
  4. 20 ml baking powder
  5. Lemon juice and zest of 1 & half medium sized lemons
  6. 250 g soft butter
  7. 4 eggs
  8. 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  9. 150 ml milk
