Step:

  1. Make a smooth semi thick batter with Gram Flour, Oil and water. Add water little by little. The batter should be of dropping consistency. At the Sweetmeat chops, they use a big slotted spoon called Jhara and can whip up batch after batch pretty much easily. But here, I have used a simply slotted spoon that we all use in the kitchen. Because of its small size, the only drawback is that it takes a lot of time. But never mind. Patience is always fruitful.

  2. The batter should be semi-thick and of pouring consistency. Deep fry in hot oil as seen in the pics using a slotted spoon. Sprinkle Salt and Red Chilli powder when it is still warm and serve. Store in an airtight container after it has cooled down completely and use it as desired.
