Step:

  1. Preheat oven 400 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Add water to a roaster, cut the butter into pats and place on top of the roast. Add all the spices and rub to the roast. Add all the ingredients cover and roast for 3 hours with skin side up.

Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cup Rotisserie Rub see my recipe with same name
  2. 5 pounds fresh picnic ham/ pork shoulder
  3. 1 tablespoon salt
  4. 1 teaspoon round black pepper
  5. 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  6. 2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  7. 1 pond chopped carrots
  8. 2 medium onions chopped
  9. 3 cups water
  10. 1/2 stick butter
