Wash ground nuts to remove dust and any insecticide that may have been used. Drain. Set aside
Place nonstick skillet on medium heat. Stir constantly over fire until the nuts are dry.
Turn heat low and stir frequently for 20 minutes every 2-3 minutes.
In a cup put 1/4 cup of water add the salt, turn the heat high, pour salt mixture and stir constantly until the water has evaporated and the nuts are covered with a thin layer of salt. Turn the heat down cook for another 5 minutes.
Turn off fire and let the nuts cool in the pan for 10 minutes. They should be crunchy. If not, return to heat, stir constantly for another 3-5 minutes. Turn off fire, let cool for 10 minutes. Store in an air tight container.
