Step:

  1. Pat pork dry and season with salt and pepper

  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan until it smokes

  3. Sear each side until well browned (1-2 minutes)

  4. Set pork aside and preheat oven to 375F

  5. Heat remaining oil, add onion

  6. Add garlic and apple, cook until apples and onions soften

  7. Pour cider over and bring to a simmer

  8. Return pork to pan, and coat in apple and onion

  9. Bake 15-20 minutes or until it reaches internal temperature of 145F

  5. 1 large red onion, sliced
  6. 4 garlic cloves
  7. 2 medium Granny Smith apples, sliced
  8. 1 cup hard cider
