Step:

  1. Marinate the paneer with a little red chilli powder and salt and fry it in 1 tsp oil.

  2. Saute onion and capsicum pieces as well. Heat 1tbsp oil in the pan, add cumin, cardamom and cloves, fry it lightly and fry the onions till they turn golden.

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste, cook 1mnt, then add tomatoes, add a little salt and cook the tomatoes till they get tender.
    Fry all the powdered spices except Kashmiri red chillies, then add 200ml of water, let a boil come and cover the pan and cook it on low flame for 10 minutes.

  4. Grind the prepared gravy and grind it fine in the mixer, then strain through a sieve. Now heat 1tbsp oil back in the pan, and sauté it by adding bay leaves and cinnamon.

  5. Add Kashmiri red chilli and cook it lightly and immediately add the prepared gravy to the pan and cook. Add sautéed onion and capsicum pieces, add sour cream, fenugreek seeds and salt as per taste and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.

  6. Finally, add paneer,tomato sauce and coriander and cook for 1 to 2 minutes and switch off the gas.

  1. 200 grams paneer
  2. 2 onions
  3. 3 tomatoes
  4. 1 each onion and capsicum cut into 1 inch square
  5. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  7. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  9. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  10. 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  11. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  12. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  13. to taste Salt
  14. 2 tbsp cream
  15. 2 cloves
  16. 2 green cardamoms
  17. 1 large cardamom
  18. 5-7 black peppercorns
  19. 1 bay leaf
  20. 1 inch cinnamon
  21. as required coriander leaves to garnish
  22. 2-3 tbsp tomato sauce
