Step:

  1. Preheat oven to 250. Place chuck roast in a roasting pan. Season the way you like. I normally use a steak seasoning, use onion, garlic, salt, pepper and I use Dale's seasoning. I baked on 250 for 5hrs. The last 2-3hrs put temp on 150. Be careful! I would check your chuck every 30 minutes. To make sure it's not over cooking. If you have to lower the temp go ahead. It can go from tender fall apart to hard pretty quick. I cut a sample of the meat to make sure it was tender enough.

  2. After it is tender remove it from the oven.

  3. Cut into chunks and shred the meat. I like different textures of meat in my noodles. Boil the noodles like it states on the bag. Make the gravy by the packets. Add some of the shredded meat while the gravy is thickening up. Once all is done keep separate and top in a bowl as you serve. Add extra meat on top of noodles. Top with sauteed mushrooms and onions. Also if you dont like noodles, you can put the meat and gravy over bread, or mashed potatoes.
