Step:

  1. Using a pastry blender or fork: mix flour, brown sugar, and butter: reserve 1 cup for topping.

  2. Add egg to flour mixture and stir.

  3. Add vanilla and baking soda.

  4. Stir in buttermilk and salt.

  5. Pour into greased and floured jelly roll (10 × 15) pan.

  6. Sprinkle on reserved flour mixture, chopped nuts and toffee chips.

  7. Bake at 350° for 25 - 30 minutes.

  5. 1 c. Buttermilk
  6. 1/2 tsp. Salt
  7. 1 c. Nuts-chopped
  8. 1 (8 oz.) Bag Heath Toffee Chips
